   These are really nice skates, though they do fit on the snug side. We are still deliberating whether to keep the size 8, or switch to a 9. I don’t think the snug fit will be an issue, but the skates are for my daughter (who has a slightly smaller foot than I) and she feels that because she can feel the end of the boot with her toes, they may be uncomfortable for long wear.
   They are good quality, seem to ride smooth (although we haven’t yet been off of indoor floors) and I recommend! Perhaps I’ll update after they’ve been worn outdoors if there is anything new to report.
