Question by dunno22222222222222222: I need some ideas for where to have my daughters birthday party?
She’s three, I’m pregnant (6 months, rules out ice skating), I have kids of all ages ranging from 1.5-11 coming, boys and girls, and I’m located in a suburb of Chicago (because its a late november party it just about rules anything out outside). Does anyone have any ideas?

What about something like bowling….the young kids would need help but they would really like it. Most bowling allys offer party packages…like pizza or some kind of food and a pitcher of soda.

Question by ballintastic: Need Help with Song List for Party?
Okay so my half brother got married and is 40 years old. I was put in charge of music for the party that will be held at my parents house this saturday (july 9.) Now the party is an indoor/outdoor type of things with a speaker probably playing in the background so both areas can hear the music. At his wedding the music ranged from dance oldies in the beginning that everyone knew then progressed into more and more young people dance music as the night went on.
I think this is a good rubric to stick to so that later in the night the younger people can dance to the younger music. I will also start off by playing some nice background music/ instrumentals when everyone is still talking (Their will probably be a much greater portion of time where people are talking and eating outside/inside than just dancing.)
The age of the guests range from 20-85 with the average age around 50
The following songs are what i have complied in the instrumental/background/dance categories so far (progressing down just the the style of the night.)
Vibrations -Javelin
Susie Cues-Javelin
Off My Mind-Javelin
40 Layers – 40 Winks
Flirtations -40 Winks
Do Me A Favor-40 Winks
Some body’s Baby- Jackson Browne
Mellow My Man – The Roots
Waiting in Vain – Bob Marley & The Wailers
In Love Not Limbo-Of Oceans
Call Me- Blondie
Roller skate (You Learn To)- Call and Response
Unchained Melody-Righteous Brothers
Modern Love-David Bowie
Black Magic Woman-Santana
Listen To The Music-The Doobie Brothers
Beggin- Madcon
Superstars-MileHi
Diplomat’s Son-Vampire Weekend
Feel It All Around-Washed Out
Band On The Run-16th Stage
Sacre Cool -Young Montana?
Just Dance – Lady Gaga Feat. Colby O’Donis
I am 17 years old btw (if that matters haha)
Any suggestions for songs (classics, oldies, new songs, etc) would be greatly appreciated, and even if you have a suggestion about my current song list. Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance for any help.

Question by jibbit412: Games to play at an Ice Skating Birthday Party?
I’m a new coach at my rink, and was recently hired to coach a group of young kids at a birthday party. I would like to know what games or figure skating moves I could teach the children that would be easy for them to understand. These is not my first time teaching birthday parties, and therefore I know that it is difficult to teach during public ice. I would like to hear ideas from experienced coaches, or if you are not a figure skating coach, then fun activities that you do with children that may translate well onto the ice. Thank you for listening to my request.

Helloo I’m a figure skater and young kids love doing the konga on ice so if you go at the front and they all hold on to you that would be really good and also you could do simon says on ice too! ![]()
You could teach them the basics like how to actually skate, lemons maybe teach them how to skate backwards, just teach them the very basics like levels 1 to 4!
Good luck with your new job!

Question by : Should I only pay the guests (kids) way into a Birthday Party?
I am planning a birthday party for my 5 year old daughter. There is a birthday package that is 2hrs, unlimited pizza, pinball and ice skating it is $ 20per kid and $ 15 per adult. So I of course need to pay for my boyfriend, daughter and myself that is $ 50 and I am planning on paying just for kids which is 6kids total is $ 170. So do I just post on the invites to drop kids off if you want to join it is $ 15.???
But if that sounds ok…what do i do about family (her aunts and uncles 4 of them) they have no kids… do I pay there way or just state that kids are covered adults bring money…???
Because I still need to pay for cupcakes and drinks, I am pretty positive they are supplying eating utensils…
what should i do? What is the proper way of paying/inviting or addressing this?

I would put ” kids get in free, adult admission $ 15″ on the bottom. They don’t need to know the specifics.
